Spectral-Domain OCT

Multi-modality imaging with SPECTRALIS® is a unique ophthalmic diagnostic imaging device used primarily to examine the structures of the retina, macula, and optic nerve. It combines technologies like confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (cSLO), spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT), Heidelberg Noise Reduction™ & Scan Planning Tool. The SPECTRALIS platform includes multiple models at various price points. The workhorse model in the family is the SPECTRALIS OCT, an economical, easy-to-use version with one-touch pre-set scan patterns and AutoRescan.

Product Features
    • Enhanced anatomical and image details from TruTrack™ active eye tracking and simultaneous dual-beam imaging
    • BluePeak™ blue laser autofluorescence enables imaging of lipofuscin distribution providing a functional map of RPE metabolism
    • HEYEX™ image management software
    • Pre-set scan patterns and AutoRescan™ automatically places follow-up scans in precisely the same location, bypassing operator variability
    • The Posterior Pole Asymmetry Analysis highlights thickness differences between eyes and between hemispheres of individual eyes.
    • FoDi™: fovea-to-disc alignment technology for more precise RNFL and ONH assessment.
